PLEASE FOLLOW GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE AND MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ALL TIMES

The following is a quick guide to the arrangements in March

  • Staggered start and drop off and pick up times for different groups of children – see timetable below.
  • Children in years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 to be dropped off at Benyon Path gate.  Children in Nursery, Reception and Year 1 to be dropped off at the main office entrance gate.  Siblings of children in Nursery, Reception and Year 1 may also be dropped off at the main office entrance gate. Senior staff will meet and direct the children.

  • For parents with more than one child you will be able to drop all siblings at the time of the earliest drop off.
  • At pick up time parents will be allowed onto the site to pick up from the classroom door; only one parent will be allowed on site.
  • Nursery/Reception parents to use the entrance near the main office, KS1 parents to use the Benyon Path entrance and KS2 parents to use the side access road entrance (to the left of the school office).
  • Parents are requested to wear face coverings when on school premises, ie when collecting children at the end of the school day.
  • Before and after school provision for working parents only (limited spaces)
  • Parents to observe social distancing guidance when on school premises, especially along the narrow path down the side of the building to the back playground, younger siblings are not to play with the resources on the field, back playground and by the Nursery and Reception classrooms at the front of the school, and must remain with their parent/carer at all times.
  • Children in key stage bubbles with set members of staff
  • Children will be asked to wash their hands at key times during the day
  • No facemasks for children under 11 as stated in WHO/ Government guidance
  • Children to bring the minimum resources into school

 

  • Named Water bottle
  • Small bag with reading book (school book bags are ideal)
  • Lunch box if packed lunch
  • Coat
  • PE kit to remain in school

 

  • No large group gatherings e.g assemblies
  • Breaktime and lunchtime will be staggered
  • All snacks 50p. Correct money only - no change given
  • No clubs – except childcare for working parents
  • Office to remain closed. Contact via telephone or email
  • All correspondence through the School App or email.
  • Letters sent via School App and posted on the website. No paper letters will be sent home
  • All Risk Assessments are on the school website
