Welcome to Benyon Primary School.

We hope the information and photographs will give you a flavour of life at Benyon Primary and keep you up to date with all the recent news and events that take place at our school.

Our pupils are aged 3 – 11, ranging from Nursery to Year 6, and mainly live in the area surrounding the school. 

At Benyon we want our children to be happy, confident and to share a passion for learning.  We help them to achieve highly and make outstanding progress.

We value every child and ensure that we foster the individuality of their interests and experiences. Our bespoke curriculum is carefully planned to enable us to teach all the National Curriculum subjects in a creative and inspiring way. We engage children in a range of activities that enable them to develop their knowledge and skills, and equip them for life beyond school.

We are very proud of the achievements of our pupils, and this pride is echoed by the pupils themselves.  We strive to continue to build on the provision that Benyon offers.

Our vision:  At Benyon Primary School our vision is to develop young people with active and creative minds who are able to lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives. We value the total development of every child’s spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional and physical enhancement. Each pupil's self-esteem is fostered by positive relationships with others. We strive towards our parents, carers, staff, and community members being actively involved in children's learning.

In a rapidly changing world we will work together to develop well-rounded children, who are confident individuals, successful learners and who will, ultimately, become responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to the community and society as a whole.
